Top of the List: Largest North Carolina General Contractors

Despite supply chain woes and labor shortages, general contractors across North Carolina faired good last year with average billings up about 2%.

This week, Triad Business Journal looks at the largest N.C. metro-area general contractors, ranked by 2022 statewide billings. Metro areas include Charlotte, the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point) and the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill).

Topping the list is Triad-based Samet Corp. Frank L. Blum Construction Co., Thompson Arthur Division of APAC Atlantic, and Landmark Builders Inc. are other Triad-based general contractors on the list.
