The Highlands opens 200-acre nature preserve

The Highlands developed by Caldwell Communities is hosting a grand opening of the community’s 200-acre nature preserve with Party in The Preserve on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

With 13 builders offering new homes with prices starting in the $300,000 range and up, 350 current residents, and more than 500 sales, the addition of this 200-acre national park-inspired amenity will continue to raise the bar of amenity offerings in master-planned communities. This award-winning Caldwell Community located in Porter landed on the list as one of the nation’s 50 top-selling communities during its first year of sales.

The Highlands invites the public to join the opening of the 200-acre nature preserve with a peek into the lifestyle programming typically exclusive to residents of the community. The Preserve will include its own recreational lake — Phillips Lake — a fishing dock, multiple pavilions, picnic and lounge seating areas, hike and bike trails, a river overlook area and more for residents to enjoy year-round.

At Party in The Preserve, you can join in on the fun with a special celebration. Guests will enjoy live music, food, refreshments, pumpkin painting, fall floral arranging, hoverball archery, fishing activities, prizes, model home tours and more. The party really is in a nature preserve about a 0.3 mile walk to the event, so guests are encouraged to wear trail-friendly shoes and bring your off-road strollers or wagons.
