Scenic 898-acre property hits market in Shelby County for $5M

A massive recreation and investment property has hit the market in Shelby County.

Twin Mountain, which is roughly 898 acres, is listed for $5 million in Pelham just off of Exit 242.

According to the listing sheet, the tract at 001 Rolling Hills Drive with a Chelsea address has over six miles of well-maintained interior roads with three access points.

The heavily timbered tract with mature trees has whitetail, turkey, and small game on site. Cooper Branch flows over 1.5 miles through the acreage, offering a water feature.

The mountain’s highest elevation is 1,007 feet and offers two ridges with views.

Gabe Goodson and Brett Harden of National Land Realty are the listing agents.

Land has been a hot commodity in the Pelham area with a population that is growing and commercial development on the rise. The Pelham City Schools Board of Education recently inked a deal for a large piece of land. The $9 million deal closed Aug. 4 and involves 69 acres that will be used to build a school in the next few years, according to the Shelby County Reporter.

The area also recently had land for auction with Granger-Thagard Auction. Thirty-six acres in the rapidly growing area of Shelby County went to auction Dec. 8 for a site at 3901 and 4071 County Road 11.
