The property features an indoor pool, an outdoor tennis court and more than 600 feet of frontage on Lake Michigan. It’s located in the village of Wind Point, just north of Racine and south of Milwaukee.

“The house is a great value,” said listing agent Amy Karegeannes with Shorewest Realtors. “To rebuild a house of this stature would be exponentially more expensive.”

The house has not previously been on the sale block, Karegeannes said. It was built in 2002 for the current seller and designed by Ken Dahlin of Genesis Architecture in the Racine area. The design is a contemporary version of Wright’s signature Prairie style, Dahlin said.

At 13,120 square feet, the home has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half-bath. An elevator services all three floors. The pool room also boasts a hot tub, sauna, kitchenette and a changing room, and it opens up to an outdoor courtyard.

Architectural features in the house include commissioned art glass, horizontal lines and Roman brick, a material used in Wright’s famous Robie house in Chicago, Dahlin said. He designs homes in various styles but specializes in Wright-inspired organic architecture, he said.

The listing for the Wind Point house goes live on Oct. 17. Given its luxury caliber and prime location, it could attract a local buyer or someone from the coasts, Karegeannes said.

“It’s probably one of the nicest sites in all of Racine,” Dahlin said.
