Hearthstone Drive home sells for $1.05 million in Clarence

Clarence has tallied 13 residential real estate sales of $1 million or more this year.

Most recently, Michael Hallett, a provider with Suburban Psychiatric Associates, LLP, a regional professional mental health group, sold 8774 Hearthstone Drive, Clarence, for $1.05 million to Mark and Jodie Weber of Amherst. That’s according to a Oct. 6 filing with the Erie County clerk’s office.

The 5,125-square-foot single-family home, built in 2003, has four bedrooms, 5.5 baths and two fireplaces, based on Erie County Real Property information.

The sale is Erie County’s fifth home sale for more than $1 million since fall began Sept. 23.

Erie County has notched at least 18 million-dollar home sales from January through end of June, Business First previously reported. That’s the busiest first six months of the year over the last decade, according to multiple listings service information compiled by the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors.

The second half of this year so far, there have been 15 million-dollar home sales in Erie County, based on Business First’s reporting. That means the second half of the year should end up on par, if not busier, than the first half when it comes to high-end home sales.

Clarence has been the hottest municipality, tied with Buffalo, for million-dollar home sales so far this year.
